About Me.
Hi, thank you for taking a look around my website.
I am Justine, the face behind the business.
An award winning hair stylist based in Nottingham but I will happily travel all over the UK.
I am very lucky that my career allows me to travel to lots of beautiful destinations up and down the country.
My career began as soon as I left school at 16 but my passion started way before that,
from a very young age I enjoyed playing around with hair styles and makeup.
Hairdressing was the first qualification I gained and I have trained with companies such as ASP, L'Oreal Professional and Balmain Hair.
I then expanded my qualifications and trained as a makeup artist and in 2013 I started Justine's Hair & Makeup.
I have now spent 14+ years in this industry and since starting my business 10 years ago I have been on the most incredible journey.
In 2018 as I was celebrating 5 years of business I won the 'Freelance Hair and Makeup Artist of the Year' in the Midlands award.
I still get butterflies when I talk about that achievement, it is a moment I will be forever proud of
and I have since gone on to win the IDO Wedding Awards 2020.
I have loved every second of my career so far but in 2023 as I approached my 10 year business anniversary I decided I wanted to solely focus on the industry I love the most. The hair industry is forever changing and the new looks, styles and techniques being created are exciting so I have taken a step back from makeup, rebranded and put all my attention into the craft that first captured my heart.
In 2023, Justine's Hair began a new journey.
